Early Years & Vision

Rajesh Joshi Advertising and Branding Veteran. with total experience of more than 3 decades and is in the field of advertising and brand building for more than 2 decades. Born and bought up in suburban lines of “city of joy” Kolkata. The background of Rajesh Joshi as a person has a lot to do with the schooling in a French colony, Chandannagar(Shri Aurobindo Mission School) growing up with a humble background, good schooling and family values made him dream to achieve the pinnacle with feet on the ground. In the pursuit of his dreams, he always kept a balance between the Education values as well as the professional path. By the time he completed his graduation degree from Calcutta University (West Bengal) he had also accumulated parallel experience of five years in varied domains, somehow the passion of creativity had already harbored within him he started writing punchlines and taglines for multiple renowned brands of Kolkata. Bringing him closer to the Advertising and Branding field, however the humble background and responsibilities resisted him to break the chains and get into full- fledged mainline advertising. So, he continued his job journey in various companies until he landed at the multinational US Healthcare super speciality Organization. This gave him exposure to the World parallel; he continued gaining a few professional diplomas in the field of computer science and sales and marketing.

Founded with a clear purpose in 2008, Chariot Productions is Rajesh Joshi’s brainchild—an agency built on the belief that compelling stories can move markets and minds. Under his leadership, Chariot quickly evolved into a dynamic creative powerhouse, working with brands across industries—ranging from FMCG and finance to fashion and social impact.

Rajesh brought together a handpicked team of strategists, filmmakers, designers, and storytellers who shared his vision. Over the years, Chariot Productions has executed award-winning campaigns, branded content series, and high-impact digital narratives that go beyond the conventional. Whether it’s launching a new brand, repositioning an established one, or driving purpose-driven campaigns, Rajesh ensures every project is rooted in clarity, creativity, and cultural relevance. Today Chariot, the advertising agency, stands to have covered more than 10 million within a short span.
